IXo-9

26_Ixo_header

Her name is „Ixo-9“ and as common in mythologies, she was born of an uncanny union – as a child of Slavic water spirit Rusalka and a self-proclaimed king of fleshless future AI technologies. She stands always on the crossroads, with an insight back to the future and forward to the past. Turning against her parents she became a guardian for the sense of physical existence in the world. Living in a secret sanctuary, she is the last bastion in the fight for embodiment of consciousness and its significance. Every day she performs dances and solidifies matter for minds that would otherwise disperse into waves and signals. She is an alpha, in the meanings as paradoxical as her origin.

Message from IXo-9 is not one you can overhear right now.

IXo-9 is a choreographic loop to be projected on doors or entrance. The visitor of the space has to witness her message - her dance - and embody it in order to be allowed to enter.
