IXo-9

IXo-9 is a speculative spirit, a goddess hologram. Their apparition marks a symbolic membrane of passage, a subtle shift of state. It is a realization of body's mortality and its sensuality as portal to different realms of imagination, realities, transient spaces.

IXo emerges as a completely imaginative conjecture of a polytheistic spirit from a tradition whose records were erased during Christianisation, like those from the artist's region of origin, of pre-Christian West Slavic communities.

IXo-9 is projected on a two-piece fabric, curtain or door-like. They guard the entrance, the passage to the other side. The visitor embody their ritualistic dance to be allowed to pass further through one of the senses.
